Making a Difference in Urmston Town Centre 👏

Over recent months, Police received reports of groups of youths causing damage, engaging in anti-social behaviour, and intimidating residents in Urmston Town Centre. These incidents affected how safe people felt and contributed to littering and damage, leaving parts of the town centre looking untidy.

Thanks to the diligent work of PC Colwell from Trafford's North Neighbourhood Team, working closely with partner agencies, targeted action has been taken to tackle these issues head on. Through enforcement, engagement, and partnership working, reports of anti-social behaviour have now reduced by over 75%.

This fantastic result demonstrates what can be achieved when local policing teams and partner organisations work together to address the issues that matter most to our communities.
